A 2996 Tribute - Elizabeth Claire Logler
The Ladies, Goddesses And Bitches Writing Consortium is proud to be participating in the 2996 project honoring the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. As fate would have it, when we entered the random drawing for a victim of the attacks to whom we would create a memorial - a woman came to us. It is an honour to memoralize Elizabeth Claire Logler.
While the tribute here is dedicated to one who died at "Ground Zero", we ask that you remember the lives taken at The Pentagon and those brave souls who perished aboard United Airlines Flight 93 as well.

Elizabeth Claire Logler, of Rockville Center, New York, died at the age of 31. She was the Vice President of Cantor Fitzgerald's eSpeed Division and was killed in the attack on The Twin Towers. {Legacy.com Tribute}
"Beth", as she was known, was the fiancee of Douglas Cleary. They were to be married on December 20, 2001.
It is our prayer that Elizabeth Claire Logler rests in peace and that her family has found comfort.

Great Tribute to Elizabeth Claire. The greatest part of this 2,996 tribute is all of the great bloggers I have met. Those that are willing to take some time to research and write something about one of the victims of that terrible day.
A list of the victims is pointless, this string of bloggers blogging about one name on the list is awesome. Thanks for being a part.
Very nice . . . she will be remembered and her family and loved ones prayed for.
My tribute to Richie Myhre is here:

This project has opened my eyes even more it seems. My sadness for those families who lost and those who lost their lives so violently was deep. But now, that I read about the lives of those lost, it just stirs up all kinds of different emotions in me. With flashes of the long lists scrolling on the tv, or internet pages it seemed so overwhelming. But in breaking it down to each individual makes it a little easier to mourn their loss, to say that special prayer for their lives and families. They are not just a group, they are individuals with separate lives that none of us ever took the time to learn about.
I am so honored to be part of this project and thank you for your wonderful tribute to Elizabeth.

Beth,
On this page, on the hearts of those who never knew you, on the souls of those who did - you are not forgotten, nor will you ever be. Your life touched many - your death has touched the world. May you know that it was a life not lived in vain, for you have opened up our eyes and our hearts.
May you be in peace, Beth.

LOVE TO ALL.
I'm remembering all that I come across. Thank you.
Hi Mistress, you are in the top post on my weblog for your tribute. I posted it to savethesoldiers.
This is one-year late...but anyway, Beth was one of the bridesmaids at my brother-in-law's wedding in Rockville Centre, a good friend to his wife.
All her family got back was her driver's license. I hope she and they have been granted peace.
